Yeah, it's pretty shocking stuff. I kept up on the
thread and followed the case pretty closely, even reading some of the legal documents.
Sentencing wasn't scheduled until May, and is unlikely to happen now given the COVID-19 lockdown. But the charge Peter was found guilty of has a 10-year minimum sentence.
The weird thing is that I
almost met PeterB when he came to town a couple of years ago for the DOTA 2 International event. He had asked me on Twitter to stay at my place but I missed the message because I was on a Twitter holiday at the time. So he stayed at an AirBnB, and whenever we were supposed to meet he bailed. Now I'm wondering what he was up to while he was here. I kind of don't want to know.
