    Sadly, I think he has years ago shuffled off this mortal coil.

    AYB recalls a post where he claims to have been around long enough to know what a "buzz bomb" sounded like. That puts a date of burth no later than say, 1940?

    The last post I read from Venture confirmed that he was in an old-folks care home and in a wheelchair, and on medication. I think he passed on, sadly.
