Oh man. Where to start! I was in an LDR for an incredibly long time, which I think I mentioned before. I started looking for work in my girlfriend’s city (Minneapolis) around the time the economy tanked, which didn’t help us close the gap. But the job market here started coming back this year, and this summer I finally got my first interview. It resulted in an offer, and here I am!
I moved in September and have been settling in both at work and home. This is my first time cohabitating, and it’s really surprised me how smooth the transition has been. I mean, obviously my GF and I are very compatible and communicate well, otherwise our LDR wouldn’t have held up for 6 years. But even so, things have been great in a very low-key "wow, this is pretty easy" sort of way. We’ll see how things go, but so far so good! :)

So... yeah. I live in downtown Minneapolis, amid great bars, pubs, restaurants, and concert venues. :) I’ve got an interesting job, a super-awesome girlfriend who has a swank condo, a lair of my own (with a Boxee for streaming Starcraft to a 60" plasma!), and a ready-made circle of friends. Pretty awesome. :D
