The title and/or link say it all.

Unfortunately I don't have the tens of millions of dollars this is likely to cost.

Oddly enough, no they don't. Therefore, it falls upon me to ask you to clarify your dubious wantingness for the rest of us a little too simple to read your mind. :)

HitScan: Let me say it for you in a few short steps

1. Click the smiley
2. Read the press release
3. Think about the product described in press release
4. Agree that this is worth wanting NOW

That doesn't even REQUIRE a response.   Hrmph.

;)

Besides, it's not the porn you're playing with, it's.... well, you can figure it out.

Why not just buy 800 hard disks? And a shitload of Fibrechannel stuff?

It'd be cheaper.

God knows what you'd connect it to, though. Prolly about fifty clustered servers as a SAN device or something. It'd certainly overwhelm PCI or anything like that.

I'd visualize it for you, but my MSPaint skills are not as 1337 as some others who grace this forum.  I could not do it justice.

Paul, Paul, Paul...You Don't Get It.

It's a 224GB hard drive! And it's an SSD at that! It's bigger than any normal hard drive on the market! And it's only 1 disk!

Sure I could buy 800 hard drives and connect them in a huge fiberchannel array as an SAN, but that wouldn't be nearly as cool. That would just look funny and lame.

This is like, geek tech, or something.
