Every time I try to save an image in an IE window, the properties on the image say JPEG, but when I righ-click to save, it only lets be save it as a BMP.  What gives?

That sounds bad. Works fine for me. What version are you using? Go to the pegasus3d.com front page and see what it does on the pegasus pic, it tried to save a jpg for me. (in other words, the properties might be mistaken, as it is possible to inline BMPs the same way you can gfis and jpgs, it's just that IE is the only browser that can handle it)

I remember having that problem once, but I have no idea what i did solve it. I do remember that it was inconsistant from site to site.

I tested this by trying to save the avatars on this page.  IE6 gave the option of saving as GIF or BMP.
