Boycott EDO

They have been particularily slow to support NT technology, and from the requirements of their upcoming High Heat 2003(tm) release, they only support 95/98/Me.

Hell, even EA has gotten with the program as far as 2000/XP support is concerned.  It's too bad as the High Heat series is teh win.

I wonder it these people know that most new computers are being bundled with XP Home edition.

idiots!

How's about this: Who the hell is EDO? What type of games do they make? They sound shatacular.

Mostly sports related games.

The high-heat series is by far the best Baseball Simulator in existance.

Now if it didn't run on a sub-par platform.

Ah, that'd be why I've never heard of them.

That makes the news somewhat more unfortunate.

Now if it didn't run on a sub-par platform.

The plight of the lazy programmer. Speaking of sub-par platforms, mayhaps you should ask a mac user how they cope? ;)

Meh, sports games. I'm still annoyed at Eidos. To get my Tomb Raiders running acceptably on 2000, I had to use a third party amateur patch. This greatly annoys me.

Yeah Hitscan,

if the series actually sucked, I wouldn't bother with the boycott.

Well duh. But wherein lies the fun if I am not allowed to mock those around me? ;)

I've been boycotting EDO Ram since 98 or so.

I've been boycotting Sierra since about that time deathe,

everything they made from Frontpage Baseball to Lords of Magic to that repugnant thing that fusked up everyone when they tried to uninstall anything(IIRC) was total and irrefutable puke's vomit!

I thought about ending the boycott for Half-Life, but i did not.

Ummm, AYB... the company is "3DO" -- remember their failed console?

My favorite baseball game has been the High Heat series, and it disturbs me that they are only 'compatible' with the 9x series.  That's unconscionable in this day and age.

I did have HH2002 running in 2K with some minor audio glitches; haven't tried it in XP yet.  But if it doesn't work, I'll be complaining unceasingly to them (at least until they make a game that supports 2K/XP).

They still make anything? I'm impressed. I'm still dissapointed, but I'm impressed, heh.

Oh yeah, they've been software-only for years.
