I'm going to go with Option 1. Option 2 is just wrong; Option 3 is too much; and I hate options like Option 4. They make polls stupid and lame.

Incase you're wondering. I just passed the 2000th post mark so i figured instead of the cliche and inane "I reached x ammount of post and that makes me special" bullshit i figure I let people fuck with my ego.
Besides I wouldn't be to proud of having x-thousand of posts anywhere. Makes you look like you have no life, even if its true. Gotta give the appearance that you're cool and all that.

I think I know the reference. In Book 2 of the series, Zaphrod Beeblebrox finds himself at Megadodo Publications (Ursa Minor Beta), talking with an insect receptionist, and he says something to the effect of:

option 4 esque, um, options were neat when they originated (as far as i know, most in their current forum can be traced back to the slashdot traditional "slashdot sucks/hemos sucks/cmdr taco sucks/ FIRST POST!" poll option), and when executed properly provide everyone with a valid option: if you can't answer wtf, then you're far more likely to skew the poll.

as for wilde, i don't give a fuck. :)
