i find this odd. personally, i would expect more of the non-english speakers on the internet who'd be going to us-based message boards to speak french than spanish... though perhaps that's an invalid generalization.

Besides I'm more curious to why you'd think that French would surpass Spanish? French ain't even up there in worlds most spoeken language. Actually it is but its down on the list.
