As I have mentioned earlier, I was working on an attempt to copy the Watercolor skin because I like it so much more than Luna for XP. I say "was" because I grabbed WindowBilnds 3.0 today. I must say, WB 3 is a ton better, nearly complete integration, it's also much more complete than WB 2.X. Oh yes, it also comes with a skin named Watercolor. Uh-oh. That skin has the exact same name as my skin! Guess what. The skin I was nearly done with (it was rockin) got replaced with a [color=red][size=4]FLAMING PIECE OF DOGSHIT![/size][/color]

Interestingly enough, when confronted with a skin of the same name, the WB installer copier over the original with extreme prejudice. That's friggin spectacular. So, instead of my maybe not 100% perfect first attempt(!) I'm left with something far worse. (the fact that I can call something included with the product "much worse" than my first attempt is sad, sad indeed.)

So, it is here I come to bitch. So bad is this skin that I may have to start over again just to right all the wrongs in it. Or, I may just say "Fuck a lot of that" and go off and do a totally original skin, just to see what I can come up with. I've always wanted to, but never really understood how Skin Studio works until recently. Back to the drawing board I suppose.

I've started a new skin, and added damn near every section possible. (I just learned how to do that. Daunting, no? ;) ) Slowly but surely I shall come up with a color scheme, and a plan. Then the joy comes. (Duff isn't the only one who knows his way around MS Paint :biggrin: )

Hell, just seeing Luna all the time again shall surely be enough incentive.

I'm in the process of downloading it right now. It's exactly what I was hoping Luna Silver would be. I'm also gonna grab Luna^2, because it is kind of interesting too.

What I'm really interested in it that StyleBuilder. It looks better than Skin Studio, and it appears that StyleXP is a little more integrated into WinXP's theming system than WB 3 is.

I was trying out WinBlinds in XP and i found a really nice theme. Blue toast i think it was. Anyway, my trial version of winblinds expired :(
