anyway i used traceroute... so I figured out my tcp/ip address that a way...
then...
I set up the airport to route incoming web quireies to my computer (internal IP address).
BUT THE STUPID FUCKING WEB SHARE WILL NOT START UP NOW!!!!!

I disconnected from the airport and went via cable...well two problems...
first the trace route is giving my the IP address of my ISP not MY FUCKING IP ADDRESS!!!!
second web sharing is not working with a direction connection either... software must be fucked somewhere...
boo hoo hoo....
all this is supposed to be easy. file sharing is working though....

As for your problem OW, that's pretty rough. I've no clue how to get an Airport router's IP. If the software doesn't show you there's probly no good way to find it. (UNLESS! if you go to GRC.com there's something someplace that tells you your IP. you could try that. I think it's the port scanner test or some such thing.)
As for wireless netwerks, give me Cisco, 3Com, or NetGEAR, or give me a flogging :biggrin:
