It's ten to 5 (AM) and there's a fire in my neighborhood

My wife and I wake up (well, I was awake) at about 3:15AM to flashing red lights.  A few minutes later, 2 fire trucks and a huge crane truck appear.  We look out the side of our place to see smoke, fire, and embers shooting up behind the houses across the street from us.

We won't know yet how it started, but this was in a new construction area of our housing development (townhouses, FYI).  The houses right across the street from us (between us and the fire) blocked our view of the conflagration, but we could see the flames that rose above...  and then an even taller wall of embers came wafting over, thanks to a breeze that had just started.  

It was all over in a little over an hour (about 15 minutes ago) and the trucks are now breaking down their equipment and leaving.  The area was cordoned off for several blocks.

On the positive side, we met a number of our neighbors tonight.  Of note is a newlywed couple whose house was one that faced the fire; she looks a bit like "Willow" from Buffy, only with blonde hair instead of red.  :)
