You mean a lot to me and everyone else here at OSY.  Poopy-head is more than a mere name meaning having poop on one's head.  Rather it signifies the culmination of a great wisdom and elightenment one one such as yourself.

It has too many smilies. Get rid of at least half of them and I'll consider retracting the picture.

Also I don't consider OW's poopy-headedness to have much bearing on life itself.

Actually when you think about the universe as a whole, beings of Earth such as ourselves seem pretty damn insignificant. Mostly because we are.

Relative to each other, our significance is measured by our post count.

It was a quote (which I probably screwed up) from the movie The Big Labowski. In this movie their are a group of German Nihlists who go arround mostly saying "We are Nihilists, we care about nothing!". It is quite humorous.

I disagree.

I think the universe in all its vastness is what is irrelevant.  Though our lives our short, it is individuals that matter.  It is the honor that we bring on ourselves and the good we do to others.

It is the vastness of the universe that makes us irrelevant not the other way around. It is the universe that we exist in and not the universe that exist for us that thus creates a state in which we are below the universe and not above it. To ignore the grandness of that what we call the universe is to ignore our gift. Which to me is our awarness of something bigger and greater then what we are.
Our biggest problem as a race is our belief that we are above and beyond everything in nature when it is the other way round.
God is not the perfect man but the perfect universe.
However I also believe that inspite in the grand scheme of things we maybe without any worth, that amongst each other we can make find some meaning. If at least to strive for an understanding of where we stand be it on a pinhead lost in the haystack the size of the universe, at least we find humility and maybe peace.
Some rid of angst in religion, other with drugs, and a few with a profound understanding of all.

Besides its all retoric. Philosophical ramblings such as: "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there, wouldn't it be advisable to get someone to stand in a forest where the tree falls to know if it makes a sound or not?".

Ah yes.
