This is only for fellow comrades with a militant dislike of football. If you think football is a beautiful game and that it's the best sport in the world you have two choices: 1) Go fuck of and die a horribly slow and excruciating painful death or 2) start your own thread of retard football love. Otherwise don't poop on this thread. Here were appreciate the finer things in life. Whiskey, breasts, and sports that aren't retarded. Rugby. Rugby is a good sport. Basketball, another fine sport. Football? FOOTBALL? FUCK NO! So for the next few weeks during World Cup Soccer I intend to walk around bitter towards soccer fans. 'That was fucking offside!!!!!' 'OMG! I saw him use his hands!!!!!'

Football sucks! :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire: :evilking:

Speaking of whiskey. I had a few black label shots. And then I topped it all off with a few tequila shots. Got drunk and had a fight with my friend (verbal). Then went home. And then I tried logging into my computer and couldn't figure out my password so went to bed. Woke up a few hours later and still had problems logging in because I was still drunk as a skunk. So I went back to bed. Woke up and realized I was trying to use my facebook log in name and password to log into my computer (WTF?) and finally got in. That entire drunken experience, still better then watching a game of soccer.

I like the World Cup, because people get so excited and so happy.

The games themselves, however... eh. Give me hockey any day. Or Starcraft.

AYB got to watch Uganda vs France at werk yesterday.

Predictably, it ended 0-0 chock full of anticlimacticism.

I'd forgotten that :angryfire:football :angryfire: even existed.

Then the World Cup starts, and everyone Down Under is all WOOO GO SOCCEROOS!

Socceroo? :barf: Never give a marketing exec lager and ask him to name a football team.

Of course, the Socceroos got their arses handed to them by Germany yesterday, so no one is talking World Cup anymore.

Will there be a like thread for :angryfire:Cricket :angryfire: season?

You could start a thread about cricket. We don't get as much cricket craze here in HK since cricket isn't popular here. Plus it's only really the world cup that brings football into the forefront of everyone's life except for those living in the US who can avoid the world cup craze. Here all the bars and clubs have World Cup up and if I go out with my friends for a drink I just can't avoid it and have to sit around whilst my friends are totally enraptured by the game, so conversation is stilted and I end up feeling like I'm drinking by myself. Plus this year with the vuvuzela's constant buzzing is making watching football with friends even more headache inducing.

I'm just glad South Africa lost so they'll stop playing those damn horns. Maybe then the news will focus on something of actual import. Not holding my breath though.

Yah, the vuvuzela's is such a pain. Everytime the news comes up about football and they show a clip, you can hear the vuvuzela droning noise in the background. Unfuckingbelievable! :angryfire:

Apparently a churchman described the vuvezelas as a revenge for colonialism.
