In the spirit of friendly ribbing I decided to put up some photos I took during some trips I took to the US just for Magus. Dear dear Magus, I hope these hateful photos don't make you very angry. ;)

Let's start with Chicago - and for a moment I shall be serious and say, I really fucking hate the trains there, jesus are they taking forever to fix the subway, fuck'n'a!, just no excuse for a big city. Otherwise, by far one of the best blues scene I've ever experienced in my life. I've never been to the blues cities of Texas, but I plan to do that sometime in my life, so till then Chicago blues scene is just fanfuckingtastic.

Let's start with the iconic silver bean in Millennium Park, Chi-town, which just makes me hate the US so much.

Image

A little further from the bean to give it some scale. Seriously cool monument and something you have to see in life to appreciate.

Image

And then underneath the bean:

Image

Pretty funky looking King Lear statue (not sure if it is King Lear, but I decided it was):

Image

I thought this was pretty cool, these lovely ladies setting up this picnic on the green in front of the park, aka 'Jay Pritzker Pavilion' (had to google)

Image

And the infamous 'Sue' T-Rex at the Chicago Field Museum. I like dinosaurs. I think they're cool, so much so that I've read Jurassic Park and Lost World a billion times, and have all three movies and watch them over and over again.

Image

My anti-american foot in a casting of a t-rex imprint:

Now on to New York city, and again a moment of seriousness, one of my favoritist cities in the whole wide world. I loooooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeeee Manhattan, and was planning to move there this year, but the economy being shaky am not sure it's a good time to be moving anywhere just yet.

Now on to the silliness. Magus, as an obvious republican, I fear you may find these coming photos more hateful then me. You would think so, but oh, no, not at all. These photos only prove how much anger I have for America and my friends.

The girl sitting in front is one of my friends visiting me from Boston. She flew down for the weekend to see me. Oh this is Central Park, December, and it was fucking cold! COLD! I'm Indian, so this kind of cold just ain't right for my genetics. And the lake is called, 'The Lake', which I thought was hilarious in the lack of originality with the name.

Image

This Isaiah monument near the UN which I though was really cool. I love the quote.

Image

Close to where my sister works. She works for an organization for the UN, but they have many buildings and offices. She gets free entrance into the UN. I didn't go at the time because I have a beef with the UN being an ineffectual world government organization (am actually being serious here). Actually same reason why I didn't go to the Vatican and avoided it when I was in Rome. I have serious issues with the Pope and the Vatican and refused to set foot in the Vatican.

Image

The Apollo statue outside the NBC building. I forget the name of the building. And I didn't see Tina Fey.

Image

Apparently the cathedral in that well known scene in the Sex and the City movie. If there is any reason to hate the US, that movie would be it. Well, more so just how retarded some women can be. I didn't like the movie. However St. Patrick's cathedral is pretty cool looking.

The Museum of Natural history is in one word, fucking awesome! (so awesome I couldn't use one word to describe it). I spent an entire day there by myself and I barely saw half the exhibits.

Outside the MNH: Magus, I recommend you divert your eyes here. Democratic spiel on climate change here. Oh noes!!!! Incidentally I never went to the climate change exhibits. :D I was to busy with the astronomy and dinosaur parts of the museum.

Image

Inside you see this huge apatosaurus skeleton, aka, the bones the devil put in rock to turn christians into heretics. Fuck'n Pagan monsters!!!!!

Image

Another T-REX, RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention I love dinosaurs?

Image

A few days earlier at the MET with my sisters. Just some of the many cool statues on exhibit there. Man did the Egyptians love their giant rock statues. These weren't even the biggest of them. Some were just fucking massive.

I shall take a little breather and then add photos from the New York Museum of Sex next. Just a taster for what will be shown.

You sit on this...

And use these attachments on the chair:

Yeah, wtf.

There's a lot of ways to end a photo gallery, but that ain't one of them.

This ain't the end of it dude, but it's a great way to end the first half. :D

Seriously, if you ever go with your family to NY, go with your wife to the Museum of Sex and check out the exhibits. It's not a big museum, but you do get to learn some very interesting things. The first floor is dedicated to animal sexuality, and you'd be surprised to learn that masturbation, homosexuality, threesomes, is very much a part of the animal kingdom. I had no idea myself, including that the duck has the biggest penis in the animal kingdom. The second floor is dedicated to human sexuality. The museum isn't very big and you could do it in around 2 hours.

However, do plan for an entire day with the family at the Museum of Natural History. The underwater animal exhibit is fucking phenomenal. They have a full scale blue whale that hangs from the ceiling. First time I walked into the underwater animal kingdom exhibit and saw the full scale mode of the blue whale I was shocked and said out loud, 'what the fuck! that's fucking huge!!!!!!!!!!!' Parents were not upset because they were thinking the same thing I was. Seriously, total crack for nerds. The astronomy exhibition with the meteorites were just as fucking cool. Seriously, take your family and trust me, you'll have a great time. I'll recommend a few places to go in NY if you like.

Museum of Sex tour continued...

Entrance of the museum which I thought was pretty funny:

Image

When condoms were first introduced, they were sold in tin cans:

Image

Don't ask me what the hair extension thing is. Trust me, I asked, and no one has an answer why that long hair extension is a female sex toy.

Image

This is for Mord. You jealous? :D (Is Moose Cock that big?)

Image

Check out the file name for the next two!

You know this is how AYB roles!
