Joined: Wed Jan 5 12:25:56 2011 | I have google+ now. Not entirely sure what its for other then I already have facebook. The whole dragging friends and other contacts into circles was fun for about a minute and then I got bored. I posted a comment, but currently only 9 people may have read what I wrote, which is fine because it was exactly the same comment I had on my facebook where the same 9 people plus another ~140 friends may have read what I wrote. I’m not one of those friends collectors and try not to have to many people added on my facebook. Google+ I plan to be even more strict with.

If there is a Google+ equivalent of a Facebook page, like say for restaurants, I haven’t seen that in use yet. I’m not sure how useful the circle limitation is in practice. It sounds good, but I start to get angst trying to figure out which circles to include with a post, so I end up just doing Public. This is a small example of the paradox of choice. If you have say 10 circles, making exclude/include decisions repeatedly is tiring.
