Hey JR, take a look at the dropdown

Mind you, I'm not complaining, esp. after all the work you've done. The "Forum Jump" dropdown at the bottom of the threads seems to be broken, at least for me. Not a problem, just thought you'd want to know.

I've noticed it too... sometimes it just takes a long time, other times it's only broken in certain parts, and if you select a different item (other than, say OSY) then it works.

I'm going to look into it.

You mean there are other things besides OSY? ;)

I think it's a timing thing.  It's working fine for me at home (but then I have a pretty fast connection to OSY.. heh) but not always at work.

Okay, I've figured it out.  The dropdown will always work (albeit sometimes slowly) as long as you start out from www.pegasus3d.com.   If you link directly to the forum, there will be no frame at the top of the window and thus no target for the dropdown to go to.

The reason I did this is a weird HTML bug.  The dropdown menu was originally coded to go to the current frame, but instead it blew up all the frames and started a new one.  This is either a bug in IE, the HTML standard, or both.  I wanted to preserve that frame, so I coded the dropdown to go to that frame BY NAME... but if you have linked directly to OSY without going through Pegasus3d, the frame never got created, so it doesn't exist!  Thus, it can't display the bulletin board in it (although the browser ought to be smart enough to default to the current frame if it can't find the target by name, but I guess browsers aren't that intelligent)

Ah that explains that. I go straight to OSY, land of silliness.
