The latest Mozilla on OSX has AA text, like Omniweb.

The Service Pack for Office.X will have them as well, and 10.2 is (supposedly) going to give all Carbon apps AA text.

I have to say, Windows XP is a lot better here, you can choose between regular AA and Cleartype, and all apps get it automatically, none of this piece-by-piece crap.

no no no.... IE the fonts look all aa too but it does not have the blur that omniweb and now mozilla has with fonts. BUT, the fonts are different, like its using some other fonts it feels would suit me better.

Now that's some fine engineering. My software knows what's best for me. Seriously, it's never wrong. :)

Did you get a new install of Moz? It took me a while to get Moz to look properly, I finally had to bust out a tape measure and get my pixels per inch done.

hmmm... now the fonts are back to normal...

what the fuck! does mozilla come with its own built in 'haunt you' feature? If it does, its another reason why Mozilla ownz IE. Tabs and the ability to haunt you at will.

COOL!!!

deathe, i have mozilla 1rc1, so take of that what you will. I don't use nightly builds, as i am willing to bet they are more haunted.

Now that I have XP and taskbar grouping, I so don't care about tabs anymore.

Tabs shmabs.  Now, the Google Toolbar, THAT'S a feature!

Hear, hear... on both points.

I'm not against tabs, but I feel more comfortable in SDI than MDI.  To me, the tabs take up valuable screen space.  Keep in mind that I do most of my work (i.e. "at work" work) on a laptop that maxes out at 1024x768, so screen real estate is important to me.
