I guess OSX is starting to grow on him because the site has gone positively duo-tone.

Well, maybe we'll get lucky and he'll include some elements of Win XP and then we can have a big green button on the front page! ;P

I hope he doesn't change. I like it as is.

When I wake up in the morning with a hangover and then view the posts on this site, the Mac-ish theme reminds me to take a Tylenol gelcap.

Eh, it's OK. It's not spectacular, but it is not bad either.

OS X however... all I can say is what was Apple thinking. Having used NeXT quite a bit in the past, all it seems they did is add fru-fru stuff to it and slow it down...

If Apple doesn't get their act together and speed up Quartz on their machines I'm never swithing off Fortissimo. It's pissing me off.

Madan, I honestly don't know if they can. Quartz is a HUGE overhead. Take a peek at it's true memory and CPU use when it is actually doing something.
