I might try out DirectX but i'd rather stick to OpenGL so that way i can work on my code at home to on my mac.

Besides, if MS gave development tools away for free, can you just see Borland crying? I mean, instead of admiting that their development environment just plain sucks they'll claim they were beaten by "Monopolistic Practices"

Unless these tools have C wrappers. I have a copy of GNU Compiler (IIRC) somewhere that i got with my 3D graphics book. No wait! I have a GNU compiler with my "C+ for dummies" book!!!
fuck I forgot about that. I believe its command line but not that I care even though I'd like to play with the visual dev. tools. This way I get to make some nifty windows apps so you guys can download and play with and then praise me as I indeedious enjoy praise!
