Shit, I'm buying a lot of shit for an unemployed fuck aren't I? Well, that's what profit sharings for. :)

Got a Radeon 8500 and a el cheapo 60 gig drive for the fileserver.... Well ordered both anyhoo.. hopefully be here Thursday.

anyway, i've been pretty good with my spending. i've made a big effort in not buying anything new even though i'm itching for some new techno gadget!!! its like some fricking drug...

Heh, I was about to order a cheap0 slot 1 mobo so's I can use one of the space P2 CPUs I have laying around... "just because."

But instead I'm buying some concert tickets. Kids in the Hall as well as Jethro Tull are in town next month. :)

I use my old P2 300 for a envelope holder. It works great to hold mail 'till I get it all sorted out. Got this gigantic passive heatsink, largest tines gotta, 2-3 inches tall. And, there are 8 rows, so it can hold lots of envelopes. :)

Woot, 8500 is fast. Very Fast. :)

OW: I don't have a credit card, nor do I plan on ever having one, except to build credit or for emergencies. I've had nothing but trouble with them when I was younger ( about 10 years ago ) and it took me a good 5 years to fix it. So, fuck em.

Oh yea, That radeon is friggin fast.

I'm looking to pick up a few Slot 1 mobos so's I can use up the sundry P2/Celeron CPUs I have laying around. Will probably donate them to a local school, so I'm not looking to spend a lot. ;)

I've been toying with the possibility of getting an Audigy EX, but can't gather the cash. I don't reeeeeealy need it, so it's easy to pass on until the price drops.

Of greater importance is a new case with more 3.5" internal spaces. So obviously a G4 case is out of the question. :tongue:
