The guy is (allegedly) an attorney. I know some attorneys. They are, on the whole, very busy people. Perhaps he hasn't had much free time lately.

DuffMan

Maybe he was attacked by a billy goat, like in that story.

More like a sexual assult. :)

Indeed.

Has Madan been real busy lately?  Or has he had merely nothing to add.

Wed Jan 30 04:07:49 2002

Madan got really pissed off in the thread where he was complaining about his work (mostly I think because I was being rather unsympathetic)

I hope he comes back soon.  Here and in the BF.  It's all about the entertainment, and maybe just a little more besides...

OscarWilde

Wed Jan 30 05:31:02 2002

I don't think Madan got pissed of at you, well not you as far as i can tell.

He did say that he was going to take some time of to do some important things although I can't imagine for the life of me what COULD be more important then posting like a whore on OSY.

Well eating, sleeping and taking a shit is above OSY on my list of important stuff to do. Oh and off course having hot monkey sexor with any willing woman that comes my way (which is not very often, if extremely rare can be defined as such).

Wed Jan 30 14:57:12 2002

OW: A wireless connection and a laptop will alleviate the inability to visit OSY while eating and pooping.  I haven't yet figured out a direct-to-brain connection, so I have no current solution to the sleep situation.

But imagine what the posts would be like if our dreams could do the typing...

That's OSY!!!!!

I'm short on time. And I *don't* have anything to say.

And I"m *not* Santilli. I hope that the propaganda about multiple accounts doesn't make you all paranoid and fool you into thinking I'm multiple logons. Jeremy can confirm otherwise.

And no, I'm not *really* lurking. I just keep your board open and glance at it intermittently.

Ciao,

M.

We know Mad. No one thinks you're multi-posting to mess with anyone.

???

I haven't *gone* anywhere. I'm just really fucking busy.

I just finished all my work and now, the bosses want me to re-do the entire SQL db.

Plus we've had downtime up the yingyang on our site and the help techs are trying to tell me that *I'M* the one that deleted an asa file in our home directory, when they have records and KNOW that I haven't been in for the last 24 hours.

Whatever. Lifes a bitch and then you OSY.

Jeremy doesn't have to tie his own shoes.  Being incredibly lazy yet eminently practical, he merely knots them, ties a faux bow on top, and then dons and removes them like loafers.

Anyway, enough Jeremy bashing.  He's a great guy and you all wish you could be like him.

Taking part in this particular ritual of laziness myself, it becomes obvious that me and this Jeremy person are obviously of a higher mental order, above fouling our mornings with this simpleton's game of tying things in knots only to untie them hours later. Think outside the box. oooh!

Ok I got it figured out.

It *is* case sensitive, it determines you are two differenet posters depending on how you logged in.

And when you log in lower case, it changes the poster of all your posts to lower case.

Odd.
When i did my first post, I logged in lower case, second post I relogged in upper case. I the relogged in lower case, and it would not allow me to edit this poast again.

:)

HitScan

Fri Feb 1 20:44:21 2002

Hehe, no, but HitScan does have a lovely Alpha 4/166 running NetBSD. It's a creaky old thing, but it chugs away. I will also be getting the Alpha 4/166 that the library will be surplusing when we get rid of it later this year. Beowulf cluster! (or not, heh.) I so so dearly want one of the fat bastards running faster alpha chips, maybe 4 to 8

My girl friend is an attorney, and I have a Juris Doctrate Degree, and have been studying for the bar exam...

IG: that is not anger at you...

Been sub-teaching in high school, and refeeing basketball games 4 days a week for basketball, and 5 days for subing.

Ghetto schools.

Also been hanging out in other forums.

Not that I don't like you guys, but, I got a bit consumed by another hobby.  You can contact me at

California Bar is the hardest bar in the US, and the last one I took was really fucked.  You had to make facts up, not in the problem, to score well enough to pass.

Thinking about forgetting it this time around, and going after it in July...
