Well, a lot of places of employment are looking for Java/J++ and I thought I might cave in and learn that language.

But how about C#/.NET

As I understand, this is an emerging language and framework for working with XML to produce web apps that will work with any platform.

Sounds good.

I also understand that Pizza posesses a bit of knowledge about this stuff; what say you?

anyway let me know what you think about these two in particular.

thanks.

How about you do what my dad would do and learn them all?

(My dad speaks ~40 languages)

C# .NET is easier to learn - less sacrifices made on the altar of Everythings An Object.

Once you've learnt C#, thinking in Java isn't hard - just think of C# and remove half the functionality, bob's your uncle.

Next question:

Does the SDK work with Visual Studio 6?

learn the karma sutra and then tell the ladies you're well versed in the ancient art of giving many orgazims.
