i have a massively unreliable cable modem... on a good day, i can download at up to 160kps, but that's as high as i've ever seen it. usually it's a lot slower, and 30% of the time it's nonfunctional. apparently, cox may lose the contract due to the assfuckingly bad service... w00t!
and a friend of mine has a setup with @home where he routinely downloads at over 1m/s... grrrrr....
