Back from the Brink. BGII is DONE!

A. Hurricane Michelle caused me to miss work. I played the ENTIRE weekend and finished.

B. Awesome game. Worth EVERY penny. I love the role play. I LOVE the NPCs(Minsc, Jaheira..etc). I LOVE everything about it. 10/10. Perfect.

C. Beat Irenicus. Awesome ending. How did you hit level 24. Max for thief is 23...

D. My char:

Str.-20
Dex.-18
Con.-9
Int.-15
Wis.-15
Cha.-21

Same character. I just used equipment to ....supplement my stats.

Wields two blades and carries a third.
Right hand. Black Razor....SWEEET.
Left hand. Celestial Fury....Nice.
Sword of Roses is my backup.

Equalizer is overrated. Gave it to Imoen.

Armor: Shadow Dragon Scale.
Boots of speed.

AC: -4(took a hit on AC because I wield two blades)...

Level 23rd Mage.

Failed on my relationship with Jaheira. She stopped talking to me after I slept with Phaere, Matron daughter of the Drow... :(

But I ended up involved with Viconia, another drow(hmmm..maybe I have a fetish) and we stayed together to the end. Viconia is scripted to end all relationships but I got in to her "bed" so late in the game(chap. 7) that the script never activated and the relationship maxed out normally and held till the end of the game.

Ahhhh Viconia.

Anyways, I'm buying Throne of Bhaal... I miss Minsc and Boo.

I already bought Icewind dale.

Off to work

In Throne of Baal Expansion, Max for fighter is level 40 or something.

Or you can use a utility that will remove the XP cap (experience points not Windows :) )

You also get high level abilities, wizards get 10th level spells, ect.

So you killed the dragon for the shadow armor hey?  Honestly the Black dragon was harder than Fiirkraag.

Failed on my relationship with Jaheira. She stopped talking to me after I slept with Phaere, Matron daughter of the Drow...

IF you were a suave as OW, you would have hacked the game so you could have had them both at the same time :cheesy:

When I did it single player style, I did a romance with Arie.  Much cuter. :)

I think next time I will hack the game to make her look like Katie Holmes. :)

I already bought Icewind dale.

This ones interesting as you start at level 1 instead of 8-9.

It lacks a lot of features that BGII has.

but it's all in good fun.  Buy TOB and you get a new area (which I haven't explored yet) and new weapons are available.)

With the appropriate hack, I just made my own sword :)

I'm going to get TOB...soon. Just probably not today. Maybe the weekend.

Might get Starcraft Battlechest tho'.

Too bad we can't play online. Unfortunately, my Wintel doesn't have a modem. :(

Yes, I killed the shadow dragon because I, get this, DROPPED the shadow ward! D'oh!

I didn't know I had. Since Anomen had been flirting with Aerie and since AI was on, he jumped to hold back the shadow dragon by himself! (Minsc wasn't in the room yet). Anomen died, keeping the thing busy. In the end, Aerie killed it magic style and we "buried" Anomen next to Merella the Ranger, in the main shadow temple. Quite fitting.

How do I hack for Jaheira and Viconia? I have no idea how to do that? How would I? TELL ME....TELL MEEEEE!

Anyways, I'm going to start ID until I get TOB. I bought ID yesterday but the Office Depot didn't carry the BGII expansion so I'll have to look around.

Minsc rocks.

Evil meet sword....SWORD MEET EVIL!

Lol! Priceless.

I think Viconia is the hottest NPC in the game. Aerie's ok but she's so....needy.

Still, I thought your character was a female? How'd you court Aerie? Lesbo is a no no...

Battle in hell was hard.

And NO, Nixhellwhateverhisnameis(black) was easier, imo, than Firkrag...

Firkrag was a beYotch!. Minsc ran from dragon fear like a lil' bitch. Jaheira ran. Imoen ran. Viconia stood by me but she was my weakest fighter.

My character stood his ground but we almost got wasted. It's a good thing Aeire was in the background.

Can you say "finger of death"?

Still, nothing beats killing Beholders with Cloak of Mirror.

Reflect their own spells back at them. Hell, yeah bitch!

Muahahahahahha!

Anomen died,

I never liked him.  If he fails *his* quest there is always a chance he attacks arie.

I didn't like him.

If I did single player over, I'd make my group of Me(a Mage), Keldorn (paladin), Minsc, Arie, Visconia, and Imoen.

The TOB lets you have Drizzt I think (an unusual Good Drow)

The shaddow dragon gave me fits as it kept level-draining my weak characters and got a lot of spell protections up.

Firkraag just kept slugging it out, and I used a couple protections from fire on my Paly and 20_+level fighter and made short work of him in only my second attempt.

EDITORS

You can hack into player files and change portraits, sounds, Level, Items etc using "Shaddowkeeper"

lotsa fun :)

BTW, my last character that I posted was just my female thief/swashbuckler.

Hella cute no?

Originally my 23rd level fighter (or is it 24th now) was my original character, I imported him into this game as a regular character)

Or, you could just modify your char. by typing into the game console....

CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys()

Then modify level by giving yourself XP:

CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("#")

And move around the map by typing:

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("#")

Or create items by typing:

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("#",Amount)

I just found the site today during lunch...

Grrrr...AFTER I beat the game????!

Oh, well, it kept me honest.

How else, can you explain my constitution and dex? ;)

Yep, I knew that.

I also have an item editor, but the site that hosted it no longer exists :(

Cheating is not much fun though.

I once used Game Genie to cheat at Final Fantasy VI, but after a few times through, I decided it was more fun to build characters up manually.

In one game where I built characters up the hard way, I had every character past level 65 before the beginning of the World of Ruin. THAT was an ordeal; it's difficult to get characters past level 35 at the same point without serious effort.

My favorite game, though, was The Secret of Mana.

In one game, the three characters were at Level 99, and I had six of eight weapons at Level 9 and the other two at Level 8.

Then I sold my SNES and games to get an N64. Fucking stupid of me, considering the one game I wanted for N64 never got released. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.

Really? what was it? An RPG I assume?

Nintendo fux0red it up bigtime sticking with cartridges. Then they proceded to fux0r it again by only allowing those pathetic 3" DVD discs for games. They didn't want people buying them just to watch DVDs on, so they made it completely impossible, and cut teh possible game size by over half.

Fucking. Brilliant.

Your assumption is correct.

Namely, EarthBound 64.

In late 1996, Nintendo Power reported it as being on track for late 1997. Late 1997 came and went; they said late 1998. Late 1998 came and went; they said mid-1999. Mid-1999 came and went; motherfuckers cancel the game, and after 3 years of beautiful screenshots.
